Today I am sharing some of my favorite baby items that have been game changers on this journey into momhood. Looking back, a year ago I wasn’t familiar with any of these things and now I feel like I couldn’t be without them! Oh what a difference a year can make! These are my top 5 picks.
  1. Baby Merlin’s Magic Sleepsuit. If you have a baby that startles easily or just needs a little extra help staying asleep then you need this in your life. We’ve used this as a transition from swaddling and won’t leave home without it. In addition to keeping your little one warm and snug it’s also an adorable look.
  2. Beaba Babycook. It’s so exciting when you get the go ahead from your pediatrician to feed your baby solids. Of course you only want the best for your baby and this machine makes it easy to quickly turn your best organic fruits and veggies into yummy nutritious baby meals. It is a steam cooker and blender in one. I will be sharing some of my favorite recipes in future blogs!
  3. Frida Baby Humidifier with Diffuser and Nightlight. I’m not sure I’m going to want to give this one up when baby boy moves out of our room! Explore different EO blends and diffuse the night away. Bonus colored nightlight comes in super handy when trying to get around in the dark without waking up your precious baby. Follow the blog for upcoming recommendations on blends soothing for baby as well as mom and dad.
  4. Bibs BPA-free Natural Rubber Glow in the Dark Pacifier. Another product that is great in the dark. Your little one is crying and you can’t find the paci he dropped in the crib. Sound familiar?! These solve that problem with the glow in the dark handle. Although I was first drawn to them because of the super cute colors and round shape, I have kept buying them and gifting them as they really are just as functional as they are cute.
  5. Dr. Brown’s Anti-Colic Bottles. If your little bundle of joy has suffered with tummy issues related to feeding then these are definitely worth a try. Designed with a venting system to decrease air intake, these bottles help to decrease gas and tummy upset. After the first time we tried them, they are the only bottles we use. I prefer the wide-neck glass version but I’m sure the others work as well.
So there you have it! It’s no coincidence that my favorite items revolve around
eating and sleeping! Now is a good time to check in with yourself and make sure
that you are also keeping tabs on your nutrition and wellness. Remember,
maintaining your health is also a gift to your child.
